    End of year

Can you believe there is only just over 2 weeks of school left? Where has the year gone? Let me remind you (in no particular order)! We have had: Art, Music, Italian, PE, Level 4 Sport, Round Robin, ANZAC Service, Basketball with Mike Spears, Easter/Book Week/Footy Day/Science Week/Maths Day dress ups, Cross Country, Athetics Carnival, Jump Rope for Heart, Gymnastics, ICAS, NAPLAN, Swimming Program, Cyber Safety with Susan McLean, Grade 5 Electives, Webpage, IMAX excursion, History/Space/Natural Disasters/Government topics, Production, Camp at Waratah Bay, Stranger Danger (with a visit from the Police helicopter!), Mrs Clark had a baby! Graduation Program, Student Leaders, JSC, Little Friends Program, Teddy Bears Picnic, Public Speaking Competitions, Musica Viva, Responsibility Day, Sex Ed/Drug Ed with Kate Wilde, official opening of the new building (feels like years ago!). TVPS Disco, VPRC and that’s without the teaching and learning that has been ongoing in the classrooms!

And still to come: RE Christmas Service, 2012 Student Leaders announced, Grade 6 Morning Tea, Grade 6 Orientation Day, Grade 6 Dinner, Tabloid Sports day, Christmas at TVPS, Graduation Ceremony, Helpers Morning Tea, Coach Approach Sports Expo, class parties/end of year BBQ, House Sports, December Reports, Christmas activities, Grade 6s last day of Primary School – no wonder we are all exhausted! But what a WONDERFUL year it has been!

Many thanks to ALL the Level 4 staff for their hard work and dedication this year. Also a big shout out to ALL the Level 4 students for making 2011 such an enjoyable year!

    Merry Christmas

What an exciting year Level 2 has had. It only feels like yesterday that everyone was arriving for their first day of the 2011 school year.

Throughout second Semester students have been fortunate enough to be involved in a number of exciting activities. These include: the grade 2 sleep over, whole School Production, the Disco, Responsibility day, swimming, the Life Education Van, and various exciting dress up days. With the most recent being ‘Mo’ day, where all students magically grew their very own moustache over night.

All Level 2 Teachers are immensely proud of their students, they have all worked extremely hard and made fantastic progress in all areas of the curriculum. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful parents who have helped us over the course of the year, it is greatly appreciated.

A happy and safe Christmas to you all.

    Miss Boal

    Mo-day

On Friday 25th November TVPS celebrated Mo-day. The Level 2 students looked fantastic wearing their moustaches. Everybody really enjoyed playing ‘Pin The Mo On Mr Renshaw’. Some of the Level 2 students won prizes for being the ‘best-dressed’.

Thank you to the parents and students for dressing up once again and for your generous donations.

    Broadcast Interrupted

Hello parents, teachers and students, I just want to begin with saying a big thank you to Lauren McCormack for producing such a magnificent  T.V.P.S. production and the Level 4 teachers for their class items, in “Broadcast Interrupted.” The production itself was brilliant, as students from T.V.P.S showcased their acting, singing and dancing skills. Much hard work was placed into the items and teachers worked tirelessly to make sure their students were reading for the night. On the night everything worked like clockwork from the stage lighting to the curtain raising. The event will be one to remember for years to come and I felt very privileged to play a part in it.

The end of the year is fast approaching and I hope all students are working hard and enjoying the final weeks of their current classes.

    Bye for now :)
