There have been some exciting developments in the Maths section of the Templestowe Valley Primary School website www.tempvalprimary.vic.edu.au/mathForm.php
The students now have the option of submitting a response to the fortnightly problem on-line using a web form. Some of these responses will be published on the school website. However, only responses that have attempted to explain how the problem was worked out will be published.
If a response is published, only the student’s initials, grade level and school will be published eg PW, Grade 5, TVPS as recognition as the author of the response. Later in the year, there will be a certificate awarded at our Monday morning assembly to the student who has submitted the best response. If you have any suggestions or comments about this new initiative, please do not hesitate to email me (address below) as your input is important and valued.
